Hi, my name is Hwamin (pronounced Hua-min) Fettes. I live in Aberfoyle Park with my husband, two teenage children and a dog. I moved to Australia in 1993 from Japan and have lived in Adelaide since 1997.

My yoga journey started in 2000, attending my first yoga class in Flagstaff Hill. From that day I was drawn to yoga, I practiced regularly - attending  classes and practising at home, which continued for the next decade.  As my practice progressed, I started to have questions and realized that I had a desire to study yoga in depth.

In 2014 I enrolled in a teacher training course with Integral Yoga Academy of Australasia (IYAA) which turned out to be the beginning of my spiritual work (Sadhana) which I continue to this day.  I completed a 500 hour Full Integral Yoga (Teaching) Course with IYAA in March 2016, since then I’ve been teaching yoga classes around Adelaide.

During the course I met my current teacher, Tri Ratna, who taught me the joy of learning just for the sake of learning. I attend his classes twice weekly to study all paths of yoga – Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Karma Yoga, Kriya Yoga and Kundalini Yoga to name a few. I am currently involved in setting up yoga study groups where yoga teachers and students can learn and share the love of yoga.
