Take time out from the stress and demands of your busy world with relaxing yet energizing class of yoga. 

Yoga provides a sense of physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.  Postures (Asanas) relax and tone muscles and massage internal organs.  Breathing techniques (Pranayama) slow and deepen breathing and regulate the flow of energy.  Relaxation and meditation act to calm the mind and emotions.

These different types of yoga practices enhance each other and they become more effective when done together.  For example postures stretch the muscles to release muscular tension and we then feel more relaxed mentally.  Likewise when we relax the mind and release suppressed emotions we become less tense on a physical level.

Daily practice of yoga can restore our natural balance and harmony, enabling healing to occur from within, bringing good health to all parts of our life - physical, mental and spiritual.

Yoga teaches us that happiness is within each of us and is self-revealing as we learn self-acceptance, humility and gratitude.

Integral Yoga
Traditional yoga postures, breathing techniques (pranayama), relaxation and meditation to calm and clear the mind in order to arrive at a state of inner silence. Develop flexibility, strength, inner awareness, correct breathing techniques, focus, concentration and sense of well-being.

Pranayama and Meditation
Pranayama (control of vital energy through breathing) and various meditation techniques to relax and clear the mind to arrive at a state of inner silence.  For yogis seeking progression to the inner practices of yoga or for anyone who wish to improve breathing and concentration.

Chair Yoga
Is practiced whilst seated on a chair, for anyone who has mobility difficulties. Classes are available for community groups and organisations. Please inquire for more information.
